Connectivity: ADSL connection

Internet speed is adequate for downloading e-mails, internet banking and social networking (Twitter, Facebook, Whatsapp, LinkedIn, blogging, etc.)

Slow internet speeds may occur when downloading multi-media files or using Skype.

We strive to provide our guests with a quality service, however by international standard, the internet in South Africa is unfortunately not as fast.

Alternative Connectivity: Purchase a mobile data dongle from one of SA’s network providers (Vodacom, MTN, Cell C and Telkom Mobile) from R199. Data charges excluded. Data packages are available from R49.
Internet Vouchers: Reception up-load data to apartment router
Purchase at reception with Credit Card, Cash or Room account charge.
The following data vouchers are loaded from reception onto router:

1 GB


Unused data expires on the last day of each month.

International Apple products have been reported as not being fully compatible – and settings needs to be changed on the device. If connection problem persists – clients are advised to take the device to the iStore in the V&A Wharf Shopping Mall.
